Education in Flevoland
Flevoland has a highly-skilled and rapidly growing population. We offer a full range of facilities for general education, vocational training or specialized studies. In all our cities, you’ll find school-communities for secondary education at different levels. Most also offer pre-university studies as well as vocational studies and training. Together, they have over 25,000 pupils with another 10,000 studying at colleges and other higher education facilities. Moreover, famous universities such as Amsterdam, Utrecht or Groningen are next door.
The Regional Centre for Training and Education ROC Flevoland offers an array of studies in trade and entrepreneurship, economy, administration and other subjects as well as part-time vocational courses.
