Due to the presence of the Central Veterinary Institute and strong connections with nearby academic centers Amsterdam, Utrecht and Wageningen, Flevoland is a crossover in the Dutch bioregion connecting specialized local hotspots and disciplines and facilitating crossovers between academic centers and SMEs and between PPSs like Immuno Valley and Food Valley.
